"Unfortunately I will not be able to perform in front of sold out crowds in Montreal & Toronto," Breezy wrote in the tweeted-then-deleted posts. "The good people of the Canadian government wouldn't allow me entry. I'll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!"

PDP says Obasanjo tore a Long expired Party Card

The National Secretary of the PDP, Professor Adewale Oladipo, has reveal that the PDP membership card torn by former President Olusegun Obasanjo on February 16th had long expired as it was signed by a former acting chairman of the party, Alhaji Abubakar Baraje who is now a chieftain in the APC.

According to Professor OLadipo, Chief Obasanjo is over 80 years old and there are certain actions people of his age take that they themselves can't explain. Prof Oladiposaid this while speaking to a group of students who came to show their solidarity for President Jonathan at the party's National secretariat in Abuja yesterday.

Nigeria Woman Receives Japaneses Peace Prize for Her Campaign Against Boko Haram Sect

She is one of the women who has been on the forefront in the campaign against the dreaded terror group Boko Haram. The world recognize her effort and on Tuesday she was awarded a Japanese peace prize worth $170,000.

Esther Ibanga, a pastor and activist in Nigeria, has kept up a vocal protest against the kidnappings that Boko Haram has made almost routine, the Niwano Peace Foundation said.

The foundation said it had awarded her its 20 million yen annual prize because of the way she has tirelessly pressured central and local governing officials in her efforts to fight back against extremists.

The audit report by PriceWaterHouseCoopers on the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) accused of diverting the money, was ready in September 2014, Premium Times reports.

Since then the government has repeatedly declined demands to make the document public. But being under the pressure from the public and the All Progressives Congress (APC), the government issued a “highlight” of the report. According to it, the alleged missing $20 billion, exposed by a former Central Bank Governor, Lamido Sanusi, was a farce. It was also concluded that less than $2billion was missing.

With the general election just a couple of weeks ahead, the government has come under increased pressure to publish the full report.

Breaking: ISIS fanatics kidnap 90 people from Christian villages in Syria

According to report from LIB this morning, ISIS militants have kidnapped about 90 people from Christian villages in Syria after they seized two Assyrian villages from Kurdish forces in the northeast province of Hassakeh.

The militants reportedly attacked the Christian villages near the town of Tel Hmar in the early hours of yesterday. This is coming about two weeks after Egyptian Coptic Christians were kidnapped and beheaded in Libya.

American Horror Story: Freak Show actor Ben Woolf passed away at the age of 34 following a car accident in Los Angeles last week, TMZ reports. According to the site, Woolf, who played Meep on the hit show, died from a stroke on Monday, Feb. 23, after being heavily sedated for less than a week at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The 34-year-old was sideswiped by a car in Hollywood on Thursday, Feb. 19 and was rushed to the hospital and placed in critical condition.

Research: Majority of UK women don't bathe or take a shower daily

The majority of women in the UK don’t bathe or take a shower each day because they are too tired, new research has revealed.

The survey also showed that as many as one in three women admitted that they had gone as long as three days without washing or wiping their face or body at all.

Some 57 per cent of women acknowledged the importance of hygiene, but said that they didn't have the time to shower or bathe before bed, and instead opted to freshen up with wipes.

The survey of over 2,000 females by skin care range Flint + Flint also showed that over 60 per cent of women did not remove their makeup before bed after a night out, with 35 per cent of those saying they were worried about getting enough sleep.

New research from Emory University School of Medicine, in Atlanta, has shown that it is possible for some information to be inherited biologically through chemical changes that occur in DNA. During the tests they learned that that mice can pass on learned information about traumatic or stressful experiences – in this case a fear of the smell of cherry blossom – to subsequent generations.

According to the Telegraph, Dr Brian Dias, from the department of psychiatry at Emory University, said: ”From a translational perspective, our results allow us to appreciate how the experiences of a parent, before even conceiving offspring, markedly influence both structure and function in the nervous system of subsequent generations.

United Arab Emirates spends $1 billion on satellite system

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (AP) - An official in the United Arab Emirates says the Gulf federation has reached a deal valued at just over $1 billion to buy satellite systems from European manufacturers Airbus and Thales.

The deal was announced Monday, the second day of the International Defense Exhibition, in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi.

Exhibition chairman Obadi al-Ketbi says the deal for the satellites and related equipment is worth 3.75 billion dirhams ($1.02 billion), part of roughly $2.6 billion in equipment purchases announced by the Emirates. He did not give details on the satellites' use.
