Nigerian Military Arrests Boko Haram Terrorists Disguised as Women in Baga (PHOTO)

This is no Joke! Director of Defence Information, Chris Olukolade on Monday stated that the military had arrested Boko Haram terrorists disguised as women in Baga, Borno State.

Olukolade revealed this via a statement, Punch reports:

The cordon and search in Baga has revealed some terrorists disguising as women.

The searches are also yielding more discoveries of arms especially bombs hidden in various locations, especially Baga town.

Hollywood Actor Ben Woolf Is Dead After Car Accident in Los Angeles

American Horror Story: Freak Show actor Ben Woolf passed away at the age of 34 following a car accident in Los Angeles last week, TMZ reports. According to the site, Woolf, who played Meep on the hit show, died from a stroke on Monday, Feb. 23, after being heavily sedated for less than a week at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The 34-year-old was sideswiped by a car in Hollywood on Thursday, Feb. 19 and was rushed to the hospital and placed in critical condition.

Research: Majority of UK women don't bathe or take a shower daily

The majority of women in the UK don’t bathe or take a shower each day because they are too tired, new research has revealed.

The survey also showed that as many as one in three women admitted that they had gone as long as three days without washing or wiping their face or body at all.

Some 57 per cent of women acknowledged the importance of hygiene, but said that they didn't have the time to shower or bathe before bed, and instead opted to freshen up with wipes.

The survey of over 2,000 females by skin care range Flint + Flint also showed that over 60 per cent of women did not remove their makeup before bed after a night out, with 35 per cent of those saying they were worried about getting enough sleep.

Discovery: Memories might be passed down through generations in our DNA

New research from Emory University School of Medicine, in Atlanta, has shown that it is possible for some information to be inherited biologically through chemical changes that occur in DNA. During the tests they learned that that mice can pass on learned information about traumatic or stressful experiences – in this case a fear of the smell of cherry blossom – to subsequent generations.

According to the Telegraph, Dr Brian Dias, from the department of psychiatry at Emory University, said: ”From a translational perspective, our results allow us to appreciate how the experiences of a parent, before even conceiving offspring, markedly influence both structure and function in the nervous system of subsequent generations.

Tennis: Federer sails into second round at Dubai Championships

Defending champion Roger Federer had little trouble bypassing Mikhail Youzhny 6-3, 6-1 in the first round at the Dubai Tennis Championships on Monday.

Federer was playing his first match since his third round exit to Andreas Seppi at the Australian Open last month.

The 33-year-old Federer, needed just 56 minutes to get through to the second round, and remains undefeated in 16 matches against Youzhny.

Kanye West is working on a video game based around helping his late mother get to the “highest gates of heaven”.

The game is a tie-in with West’s song ‘Only One’, in which he assumes the character of his mother, he said in a morning radio interview.

“I'm working on a video game for 'Only One,' and the idea is it's my mother going through the gates of heaven,” he said. “And you gotta bring her to the highest gates of heaven by holding her to the light.”

United Arab Emirates spends $1 billion on satellite system

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (AP) - An official in the United Arab Emirates says the Gulf federation has reached a deal valued at just over $1 billion to buy satellite systems from European manufacturers Airbus and Thales.

The deal was announced Monday, the second day of the International Defense Exhibition, in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi.

Exhibition chairman Obadi al-Ketbi says the deal for the satellites and related equipment is worth 3.75 billion dirhams ($1.02 billion), part of roughly $2.6 billion in equipment purchases announced by the Emirates. He did not give details on the satellites' use.

This is so sad! An impending marriage ceremony is supposed to be the joy of every woman but for a young woman from Uburu autonomous community in Ohaozara local government area of Ebonyi State, it has been heartache and pains since February 14, 2015, when her would be husband lost his life in a ghastly accident when he was going for the introduction rites.

According to the Sun Newspaper, the lady and her fiancé who was said to be a native of Abia State, were going to her family home for the introduction that would precede their marriage but a few meters to her family house, the vehicle they were traveling in had an accident at Enufaith in Umunaga Eweze, just before the Ohaozara West Development Council, and the man happened to be only one to die in the crash.

Al-Shabaab Release New Video, threatens to attack shopping malls in U.S, UK, Canada

New report emerging says Somalia-based terror group, Al-Shabaab released a video online over the weekend calling for attacks on shopping malls in Canada, the UK and the United States. In the propaganda video posted Saturday February 21st, the al Qaeda-linked terror group reminded the world of its September 2013 attack on Westgate mall in Kenya in which over 60 people were killed and called for similar attacks on major malls in the three Western countries. Al-Shabaab identified specific malls, but international media is not listing the malls.

President GEJ replies Soludo over “missing N30 trillion” Claim

President Goodluck Jonathan seized the opportunity of an interview with a Nigerian newspaper last week to hit back at a former Central Bank governor, Charles Soludo, who accused his government of failing to account for at least N30 trillion, and allowing corruption to flourish.

Mr. Jonathan dismissed Mr. Soludo’s claim as politically-motivated, and ridiculed his academic standing, saying it was illogical for that sum to be “stolen” as his government had not generated that much in all its years in power.

In an elaborate article on the state of the Nigerian economy mid-January, Mr. Soludo had tackled Nigeria’s finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, over her management style and inability to steer the nation aright amid an oil crisis.
