George W. Bush says he avoids criticizing Obama out of respect for presidency

So I saw this post and I actually didn't want to publish it but on a second thought I felt it would speak volume on how we are suppose to show respect to our countries number citizen. If a former President can respect the office of a President I think everyone should. 

Former President George W. Bush explained Thursday that he has avoided publicly criticizing President Obama because he feels it would undermine the office of the presidency.

“I don’t think it’s good for the country to have a former president undermine a current president; I think it’s bad for the presidency for that matter,” Mr. Bush said Thursday evening on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Mediaite reported.

Meet the first female commercial pilot from Kano State, Nigeria

Meet Fatima Abba Gwadabe, the first female pilot from Kano state. Fatima  who hails from Dambatta LGC, lives with her parents at Suleiman Crescent, Off Ahmadu Bello Way, Kano.  She was among the Kano state indigenes awarded scholarship by the state for a postgraduate programme in piloting after graduating with a first class degrees in 2012.

Fatima Abba Gwadabe was recently recognized by the the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with inclusion in the prestigious FAA Airmen Certification Database, after successfully completing her programme.

It has been confirmed that that 5 different types of armoured fighting vehicles, an anti-aircraft gun, about 50 cases of packed bombs and 8 different types of Machine Guns, 5 Rocket Propelled Grenade, 49 boxes of various types and calibres of ammunition as well as 300 motorcycles destroyed in the fighting. A total of 6 Hilux vehicles including those mounted with anti-aircraft guns were also destroyed.

NFF President Amaju Pinnick meets Arsenal Coach Arsene Wenger, FIFA president

Newly elected President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick met with +Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger yesterday seeking closer bond between country and club. Arsenal has agreed to work closely with NFF for better club players and country relationship. Amaju also met FIFA president Sepp Blatter in Switzerland yesterday. The 42-year-old actor was left devastated when his 'Fast & Furious' co-star passed away in a car crash in November 2013 and he is particularly sad for his friend's daughter, 16-year-old Meadow, because he knew how much Paul loved her.

Dwayne - who has 13-year-old daughter Simone, with his ex-wife Dany Garcia - said: ''My heart broke for his family and it continues to break for his daughter. Paul and I talked all the time about how cool it is to be daddies to little girls. Our girls aren't so little but they'll always be little to us.''

Lifeless Female corpse found in Idiroko area of Lagos State

The corpse of another woman was found this morning at the Idiroko area of Lagos. She was found lying by the side of the road. Her body has since been removed but the police and they are yet to identify her.

New report coming from NBC News suggest that racism won't allow Northen Regional terror Group ISIS team up with another dreaded terror group in the West, Boko Haram, (And we all say Amen!).

The Arab world is incredibly racist," explained a U.S. intelligence official. "They don't see black Africans as equivalent to them."

ISIS may show "affinity" with Boko Haram, said the official, "but they stop short of allegiance." Moreover, said the official, while Boko Haram has in the past year released videos to show "affiliation" with groups like ISIS, there's no evidence of either group sending members to fight with the other. And while Boko Haram has praised ISIS, and shown the ISIS flag in videos, ISIS has not reciprocated.

Amateur footage shows the man repeatedly trying to get onto a train, only to be shoved out of the door and back onto the platform. The fans are heard chanting "We’re racist, we’re racist, and that’s the way we like it".

Report: Chinese Government gives 17 buses to Ghana

The Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, Ms Sun Baohong on Tuesday presented 17 ZhongTong buses to the Ministry of Transport for onward distribution to state institutions which need them.

The presentation of the 35–seater buses, which cost 10 million Chinese Yuan, was in partial fulfillment of the Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement signed between the Governments of Ghana and China in 2009 and September 2010.

Receiving the buses, Mrs Dzifa Attivor, Minister of Transport, expressed her appreciation to the Chinese Government for its assistance to the economic development of Ghana over the years.

“Despite the long distance, cultural and socio-economic differences, cooperation in various fields have deepened, enhanced the existing cordial relations to the mutual benefits of both countries”, she said.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has cried foul over Paris Saint-Germain targeting Eden Hazard during Tuesday’s 1-1 first leg draw at Paris. The Portuguese manager claimed that Hazard was fouled nine times during the match and called for greater protection for his key playmaker.

FG blocks N208billion ghost workers scam in the Civil Service - Minister of Finance

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala yesterdayrevealed that the federal government has blocked a N208.7 billion ghost workers scam in government parastatals and agencies after a biometric collection exercise carried out to get a proper data of federal civil servants revealed that 62,893 of the workers who were hitherto on the payroll of the federal government were ghost workers.

Speaking to newsmen in Abuja, the Minister said when the biometric exercise was introduced, most of the civil servants did not show up, an indication that they were ghost workers and after their disengagement, the federal government has been able to save about N208.7 billion usually expended as salaries and benefits on these ghost workers
