Lawyer Says Hospitalized Bobbi Kristina Brown Not Married to Nick Gordon

This is a new twist to the main subject surrounding the only daughter of Late Whitney Houston. Her health condition has been the subject and headlines in many media house but a new statement from Bobbi Kristina Brown's family contains some interesting information about her relationship with Nick Gordon. According to dad Bobby Brown's lawyer, the 21-year-old aspiring singer is not actually married to the tech investor.

"We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina," Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC told Us Weekly in a statement on Tuesday, Feb. 3. "To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon."

According to BBC, a commuter train has hit a vehicle at a level crossing north of New York City, killing at least seven people and injuring 12, officials say.

The train, with about 800 passengers on board, hit the Jeep Cheroke near Valhalla - about 20 miles (32km) from New York - on Tuesday evening.

The vehicle's female driver was killed, along with six people on the train, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said.

Tragic: Unknown Hoodlums Choked and Then Cut off woman’s Private Parts in Lagos

 A very tragic incident occurred in Mile 12 area of Lagos State where a woman was reportedly choked to death by an unknown persons and also cut off her private parts. Her corpse was found on Oniyanrin Street in the Mile 12, Ketu area of Lagos State.

According to Punch Metro it was learnt that people living in the area discovered that there was no gunshot wound or stab injury on the body, except that she was dead and her body part cut off. The corpse was laid in front of a shop and was covered with clothes.

The woman, who was said to be dark in complexion, was always reportedly roaming the area which is near a filling station.

Election Rally: Bomb Blast hits Gombe Minutes After Jonathan’s Departure

 

The PDP Presidential Campaign move to Gombe yesterday and after the President left the venue it was reported that a blast took off at a car park outside the Gombe Stadium. The explosion occurred barely three minutes after he left.

A suspected female bomber and another woman died in the blast while six other persons sustained various degrees of injury, according to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, DSP Fwaje Atajiri.

Confirming the blast to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Atajiri however said that it occurred near a carpenter’s shop in Kashere Street at the Water Board area in Gombe city and not at the campaign rally.

The PDP Campaign Organisation hit on Buhari for rejecting another debate

The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation, has condemned the refusal of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, to participate in live television debates with President Goodluck Jonathan, saying the decision shows contempt for Nigerians.

The campaign organisation, in a statement by its spokesperson, Femi Fani-Kayode, said the decision by Mr. Buhari to shun another debate organised by the Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria, NPAN, and Channels Television was despicable, and called on Nigerians to ensure the rejection of the APC candidate at the poll as a just recompense for his action.

NNPC Forensic Audit Report Reach President GEJ

BBC Reporters says about 700 teachers in Kenya are refusing to return to work in the north-east of the country fearing attacks by Somali Islamist militants.

Last year, al-Shabab insurgents attacked a bus near the Somali border, killing more than 20 teachers travelling home for Christmas.

The striking teachers have asked to be stationed to other safer areas.

Giovinco To Join Toronto Six Months Earlier after Juventus agree is Departure

Sebastian Giovinco will join Toronto six months early after being released from his Juventus contract on Monday.

Juventus have confirmed forward Sebastian Giovinco has left the club six months early to join Toronto FC ahead of the MLS season.

The 27-year-old forward agreed the move last month, but was expected to see out the campaign in Turin.

Asoju Oba of Lagos, Babasuwa of Ijebu-Remo, Odofin of Ife, the current Chancellor of Lagos State University and chairman of CFAO Nigeria Limited, Chief Molade Okoya-Thomas has died. Report says he died today February 2nd. 

 

He was 79. Details as to what caused his death hasn't been made public yet.

Official Twitter Account of Boko Haram Group Suspeneded

The official twitter account of the dreaded sect Boko Haram’s has just been shut down, less than a week after its opening.

The Twitter handle, Alurwa Alwuthqa, was registered last week in a manner similar to the Middle East insurgency group, Islamic State (IS).

One of the sect’s first activities on the account was to announce its capture of Monguno and display pictures of child jihadists.
