Members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly engaged in a free for all fight during their plenary last Friday, April 2nd over the appointment of local council administrators in the state.
The state governor, Tanko Al-Makura had dissolved the boards of the various council administrators after their two-year tenure ended on March 24th.
The governor immediately appointed sole administrators to man the affairs of the Local government areas, a decision that was not welcomed by the state house legislators who according to them, had resolved to immediately conduct elections so that new Local government chairmen can be sworn in.
