Buhari commend El-Rufai for ordering arrest of those asking Igbos to vacate North


President Muhammadu Buhari has commended the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai for ordering the arrest of leaders of the Coalition of Northern Youths, CNY, for asking Igbos to vacate the North in three months.

Buhari’s commendation was disclosed by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed on Wednesday.

The Minister, who took to his Twitter handle, @MohammedLai wrote:

The accident according to a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan by the Oyo Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Yusuff K. Salami occurred at about 8.30am and was caused by wrongful overtaking and mechanical deficiency.

In a statement signed by his spokesman, Samuel Aruwan, El-Rufai strongly condemned, “the inciting, hate speech delivered by some self-appointed ‘northern youths.”
