Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos have intercepted a 54- year- old single mother of four children.

She was going on pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia with substances that tested positive for cocaine.

NNPC says No refinery has been sold

None of the country’s refineries has been sold to any group or corporate entity, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has said.

The NNPC also said it had not given approval for the concession of any of its refineries in Delta, Port Harcourt, and Kaduna.

The three refineries managed by the national oil firm include the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, Port Harcourt Refining Company and the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company.

Terror Attack: 9 killed, 48 injured in London

Six people have now been confirmed killed and at least 48 injured in a terror incident in London in which three male attackers were also shot dead by police.

A white van hit pedestrians on London Bridge at about 22:00 BST on Saturday before three men got out and stabbed people in nearby Borough Market.
