Kenyan woman, Jackline Mwende, whose estranged husband, Stephen Ngila, used a machete to cut off her arms and left her for dead because she couldn’t have a baby, sometime in July last year? Well she’s having a baby. It was reported that her husband, Ngila was the one with the fertility issues that could have been treated.

Ile-Ife Crisis: Governor Aregbesola inaugurates commission of enquiry


Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State has inaugurated a five-man judicial commission of enquiry into the crisis that erupted between the Yoruba and Hausa in Ile-Ife on March 8 in which lives were lost and property destroyed.

A  media aide to the governor,  Mr Semiu Okanlawon, made this known in a statement in  Osogbo on Monday.

Bloody Gang war leaves 3 death in Mushin area of Lagos State


Pandemonium at Alamutu and Akala in Mushin area of Lagos State as three persons were found dead and many shops looted as rival hoodlums clashed. Scores of the hoodlums and residents were also reportedly injured in the clash, which lasted for more than five hours before police restored normalcy.

Heavy gunshots reportedly pervaded the entire Akala area between late Sunday and early Monday as hoodlums from Akala engaged their counterparts from Alamutu.
