Man slit his throat to avoid going to prison after sexual attack


Lukasz Robert Pawlowski, 33, thought he was at the risk of going to jail for committing sexual assault and to prevent that from happening, he used a three-inch blade, which he smuggled through the toilet, to slit his throat while standing in the dock at the Haverfordwest Magistrates' Court, United Kingdom.

He was airlifted to the hospital following the stunt and was remanded in custody upon his release from the hospital.

NANS declares three-day prayer for President Buhari

The National Judicial Council has said the bribery allegation levelled against Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court by the Department of State Services is unfounded.

This was revealed in a report by Punch on Monday. According to the report, the NJC took the decision to dismiss the DSS petition at its two-day meeting held on February 22 and 23.

Qouting a source, Punch reported further that the petition was dismissed for lacking in merit after a period of trial.
