Alex Iwobi Says He Need To Create, Score More Goals To Get Back In Arsenal Team

Nigerian forward, Alex Iwobi has admitted that he needs to start creating more scoring chances to regain his place in the starting line-up of Arsenal.

Iwobi made his first appearance in two months for Arsenal coming off the substitute's bench in the 69th minute for Kieran Gibbs as the Gunners defeated Sunderland 2-0 in an English Premier League game on Tuesday at the Emirates Stadium.

The 21-year-old forward who last featured and also scored a goal for Arsenal in their 2-1 loss at home to Watford in January, also played down his impact in Arsenal's victory over the Black Cats.

Iwobi's introduction three minutes afterwards saw Arsenal take the lead through Alexis Sanchez. The Chile international went on to bag a brace in the encounter.
"I need to work hard, create more goals and score more goals," Iwobi told Arsenal Player.
"I’ve been trying to do that in training and hopefully, get back in the team. So I’ve just been patient.
"The main thing is we’re getting the three points, we’re winning games, so as long as the team is winning, that’s my main concern."
"I guess I had a little impact but it’s [about] the team. We upped the tempo, we were able to get the two goals and able to get the result we needed.
"The tempo was very high, I haven’t played in a while, so you can see I’m blowing, I’m tired! But it was a great match to be involved in and the result we needed is what we got – we just need to keep fighting for top four.
Arsenal face Everton in their final Premier League game of the season on Sunday,  and will be aiming to win and hope either Liverpool or Manchester City lose to stand a chance of finishing in the top four.
