A 43-year-old man from Cambridge has been killed in a crash near Whistle Bear Golf Course. Police say he was the driver of a vehicle that struck a hydro pole on Whistle Bare Road around 3 a.m. on Friday.
“There was a fog advisory, so I’ll be talking to investigators to determine what the conditions were like when they got here. The roads are wet, much as they are right now, don’t think there was any rain. Just typical conditions that we have in Canada in the month of April.” said Waterloo Regional Police Sergeant John van Breda.
Roads in the area of the crash re-opened just before 10:30 a.m.
