Borno State | Three soldiers killed by Boko haram IED

Not less than three soldiers have been killed by an Improvised Explosive Device planted by Boko Haram insurgents. The soldiers were attached to the 82 Division Task Force Battalion of the Nigerian Army in Borno.

According to reports, the soldiers were on patrol along the Ngoshe-Pulka Road when the IED exploded.




Two other soldiers were reportedly injured by the explosion.

It was learnt that during the patrol, some Boko Haram terrorists, who reportedly came in scores, were also killed when they engaged troops in a gun battle.

The insurgents had recently killed some soldiers after attacking a checkpoint in Maiduguri.
