Leicester City players don’t care who replaces Ranieri – Wilfred Ndidi

Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi has said that he and his team-mates are not bothered about who the club employs as Claudio Ranieri’s replacement.

The Italian was sacked last week, just nine months after he won the club’s first-ever Premier League title.

Caretaker manager Craig Shakespeare took charge of their 3-1 win over Liverpool on Monday and will also be in the dugout on Saturday, when they travel to Hull City.
“Our job is to play and win games. Whoever comes in, it does not matter. We just want to make the fans happy,” Ndidi told Leicester City FC Television.
Speaking ahead of the Hull City fixture, the Super Eagles midfielder said: “Intensity is very important not just against Hull but in every game. It is very, very important. It comes with the focus of the team.
“When everyone is focused, the fight is there and it becomes easier for everyone. We fight like a family, like brothers.
“It was a big game against Liverpool. I would say if we had won games before Liverpool, they would have also been big. Every win is important because we want three points.”
