A 200 level Microbiology student of ABSU, whose name was given as Sandra has been missing for some days now. It was alleged that Sandra left for Owerri in company of her friend who invited her for a wedding and some other girl.
After they got to Owerri, they decided to go clubbing where she met a yet to be identified guy, who she exchanged numbers with. According to her friends, she wanted to leave that night with the man, but they struck out that decision after they told her its not right leaving with a guy she just met at the club for the first time.
However, the next day, Sandra refused going for the wedding she came for, saying she was tired. Her friend came back from the wedding, only to be told that Sandra left with the guy from the club. They tried calling her, but her phone lines were switched off. Sandra's friends then went back to school, thinking she will be coming on her own. However after they waited till Monday evening and couldn't still reach her, they rushed down to the Police Station to lay a complaint and were taken into custody.
Some days later, it was alleged that the body of Sandra has been found and some vital parts were missing. It was then suspected she must have been used for rituals. However, her sister has debunked the rumour, saying her Sandra's case is just a case of missing person.
