A 20-year-old man has died after an horrific crash between a four-wheel drive and a white sedan at a Southport intersection in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police investigations have found that a car was headed south along Olsen Ave when it collided with a car headed north at the Olsen Ave and Griffith Way corner in Australia
The man who was a passenger in the second car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency crews were called to the scene about 1.30am.
The intersection is open this morning but a large amount of glass is still on the road.
Police will use traffic management cameras installed at the corner to help with their investigations.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
