Following the aborted show where Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun aka Wizkid was slated to perform, organizers of the would-be Uganda’s first-of-its-kind concert have convinced court to issue a warrant of arrest against the singer and his manager Sunday Are, the Investigator exclusively report.
Top of the reasons for the cancellation of the planned concert was due to health concerns. Wizkid in a series of tweets apologized for annulling concerts he was billed to perform in December and January as advised by his doctors.
Now news has it that a Ugandan Court has issued an arrest warrant for Wizkid and his manager Sunday Are for failure of the music star to appear for the concert he was fully booked and paid for.
According to papers from the prosecutor Wizkid was allegedly paid the some of $60,000 via his manager Sunday Are. The singer’s manger was also paid a brokerage fee of $5000 and $3000 being per diem for his stay in the country.
