Victor Moses Says Tottenham Game Will Be Tough

Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses believes that the side must be at their best if they are to record a win in Saturday’s Premier League fixture against London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

The leaders will seek to win their seventh league game in a row when they face Mauricio Pochettino’s men at Stamford Bridge.

But the Nigeria star Moses, who was voted man-of-the-match in the Blues’ 1-0 win against Middlesborough at the Riverside last weekend, is expecting a tough game against Spurs who are unbeaten in the league this season.

“We know it will be a difficult game and we know how good Spurs are,” he told the club’s official website.
“They have quality players but we just need to concentrate on ourselves. We’ve been working hard in training and we know what we need to do individually.
“Hopefully, it will all come together on Saturday and we can get another three points.
“It will be tough but we believe in ourselves and we know we have the players who can score goals and make a difference.”
Moses, who has been a revelation for Chelsea this season, hailed his partnership with Pedro Rodriguez.
“We’ve been working hard on it in training. Pedro has been playing really well, he’s getting used to the Premier League and he understands the game very well,” Moses added.
“He’s enjoying his football, scoring a few goals and helping out defensively as well. I like playing with Pedro, we have a great understanding between us and it’s working well for the team.
“He’s a great player and he’s won everything so you have to respect his achievements. When you come to a new country it can be difficult but he’s got to grips with it now and he’s doing well. The fans are enjoying what he brings to the team and we’re all pleased for him.”
On his man of the match award against Boro, Moses said: “It was a big boost for me but the most important thing is the team.
“We all worked very hard and enjoyed the game against Middlesbrough. It was a match in which we had to graft in order to get the three points because we knew we would go top of the league if we won.
“We just have to keep believing in ourselves. I’m enjoying my game at the moment and I just want to keep on improving.”
