Tracy Morgan says he’s forgiven Kevin Roper, the Walmart truck driver who caused a massive accident in the summer of 2014 that almost killed him and did kill his friend James McNair.

“I forgave him, and I’m not even mad at him no more,” Morgan said on Thursday’s episode of “Conan.”
In the spring of 2015, Morgan settled his lawsuit with the mega company saying, “Walmart did right by me and my family, and for my associates and their families.” Fellow comedian Damon Wayans claims Morgan got $90 million in his settlement.
Ever the ready for the punchline, Morgan, 47, added to Conan O’Brien, “But you know who is mad at him? All my white neighbors.” Morgan imagined his neighbors saying, “’If you wouldn’t have hit his ass, he wouldn’t be living next door to me!’”
Now with a few extra dollars in his account, Morgan is sure to drive his Lamborghini slowly, at 30 miles per hour, through his neighborhood. “They ain’t never seen a black motherf—ker in a Lamborghini,” he laughed.
Roper, who had been up for 28 straight hours leading to the fatal crash, pled not guilty to aggravated manslaughter, vehicular homicide and aggravated assault in February 2016. The defense and prosecution are expected to meet in court again on Nov. 9.
