15-month-old Amira died following an ISIS shelling in her neighbourhood. Heartbreaking pictures show her distraught father, Omar Ali, mourning her death. She was killed after a strike on the al-Tahrir neighbourhood. Amira's lifeless body was carried by her uncle after she was killed in a mortar shelling.
She is one of the hundreds of children to have lost their lives in the brutal battle for the Iraqi city, which began last month.
