There was confusion in Rivers as members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state were allegedly barricaded and shot at during a ‘thank you’ visit the Rivers house of assembly by the members.
In the video footage, one of the PDP members is seen nursing a gunshot wound on his leg while another is seen bedridden in Hospital. Also, the footage shows the police shooting tear gas at them as well as sounds of bullets in the air. Reports equally had it that the police equally battered and seized the camera of a Channels Television Cameraman while the Speaker, Adams also berated the Police for shooting at the PDP members.
