Nigeria defeated the Algeria Team in the World cup qualifier match played at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, goals courtesy of Victor Moses (2), John Mikel Obi (1) of Nigeria and a lone goal courtesy of Nabil Bentaleb of Algeria.

Algeria was far from convincing this evening, as a brace from Victor Moses and John Obi guided the Super Eagles over the Greens. The visitors were made to rue a series of missed chances, especially at the start of the second half and were made to pay by the home side.
