The Lagos state government has upgraded the charges against John Edobor, a banker who attacked his wife Ivie Edobor and seriously injured her after they separated.
According to the twitter handle of the chairman of the National Human rights Commission, John is now to be charged for attempted murder against the initial charge of Grievous Bodily Harm.
After their separation two years ago, John in company of some area boys, in June this year stormed the home of Ivie where she was living with their three daughters and attacked her.
