Barrister Muslim Olujide Omoleke, the administrative secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ekiti State has been kidnapped... Mr. Omoleke was abducted on Thursday evening by armed hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers on the ever-busy Ilesha/Akure expressway.

Taiwo Gbadegesi, the Public Relations Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Ekiti State confirmed the news to SaharaReporters via a telephone chat.
Mr. Gbadegesi disclosed to our correspondent that Omoleke was seized by the hoodlums at about 4: 00 pm at a local village close Ilesa in Osun state.
He explained that the victim (Mr. Omoleke) was kidnapped alongside his little son and a driver on their way to Osun state.
"Butlearnedrnt that they (kidnappers) later released the child and the driver before they took Mr. Omoleke away into the forest" Mr. Gbadegesi added.
The kidnapped administrative secretary recently attended a program organized by the INEC in Akure during the week in preparation for the governorship election in Ondo state.
Family sources confirmed that the hoodlums are yet to contact them to commence discussions that would lead to his release.
Polices sources told our correspondent that the Nigeria Police Force in Ekiti, Ondo and Osun states have already launched a manhunt for the kidnappers in order to rescue Mr. Omoleke.
