Apart from President Buhari and US President-Elect, Donald Trump been a very straight forward kind of people, there are other noticeable similarities that have caught our attention which has to do with their chosen running mate.
The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo is a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG. President Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, APC, must have seen the importance of having a true believer as the Vice President when they chose Osinbajo to fit the position.
Likewise in the U.S of Trump. Republican Donald Trump equally chose a true believer of Christ, Mike Pence as his vice. Pence is someone who is staunchly Christian and who equally believes that God must take the primus in every affair of mortals, whether presidential or otherwise.
In this video, Pence who talks about his belief in God as well as his and Donald Trump’s political ambitions also urged people to always bend their knees in prayers to God, saying, “we need Jesus now more than ever.”
