Sir Olaniwun Ajayi, a chieftain of the Afenifere Yoruba socio-political group is dead at aged 91 years old.
He died before 12 midnight yesterday as was reported by his personal secretary, Mr. Samson Aremu.
Sir Ajayi died some hours after complaining of chest pain on Thursday afternoon in Lagos where he was taken to by his eldest son, Dr. Konyin Ajayi.
He was born in Isara Remo on April 8, 1925 to farmer, Mr. Benjamin Ajayi and Mariam Efundolamu.
