Drake and Rihanna seem to have split up. According to E! Online, a few days ago, news broke out that the singer and rapper have gone their separate ways.
This seemed to be confirmed by Drake himself when he shared a not-so-subtle Instagram post on Tuesday night. He doesn’t mention her name or tag her in the post but he does mention phrases that we could relate to any of our past relationships.
“Too mix up in drama to free my mind but I’m praying for you even in your darkest times,” he wrote beside a black and white photo of himself sitting in a car while holding a bottle of what appears to be alcohol.
Not long after that, he shared another Instagram post in which he seemed to reveal that he is working on a new song.
He captioned the photo with a lightbulb emoji, and it can only be assumed that the inspiration bug bit him in relation to their split.
Meanwhile, Drake and Rihanna only recently decided to go their separate ways following their Summer Sixteen Love which was filled with many intimate moments between them.
It did seem as though the pair had cemented their relationship for real when Drake made it publicly known that he had loved the Barbado Singer for “years” when he presented her with the Video Vanguard Award at the 2016 MTV VMAs.
Reports by E! Online claim “Rihanna and Drake are seeing other people at the moment. They are not exclusive anymore. They still love each other, but their schedules have gotten in the way.”
