Three African Presidents Visit Abuja on the launch of Buhari's biography


The FCT Minister, Malam Muham­mad Musa Bello has received three visiting African leaders who were visiting in solidarity with their Nigerian counterpart, President Muham­madu Buhari on the occasion of the launch of his biography.

The visiting African leaders were the President of the Republic of Niger, Mr. Mahamadou Issoufou; the President of the Republic of Benin, Mr. Patrice Talon and that of Chad, Mr. Idriss Deby.


There were all received at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at different, but close times.

The aircrafts of the visit­ing Benin and Chad Presidents touched down at exactly 9.05am and 9.45am respectively Nigerian time amid rousing reception.

The two Presidents joined President Issoufou of Niger that landed in Nigeria earlier to show solidarity with President Muhammadu Buhari and attend the launch of a book written in his honour.

The book “Muhammadu Buhari: The Challenges of Leadership in Nigeria” by Professor John N. Paden was presented to the pub­lic yesterday, (October 3, 2016) at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

The Ministers of Internal Affairs, General Abdulrahman Danbazzau as well as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Hajiya Khadija Abba-Ibrahim as well as the Minister of Information and Culture joined the FCT Minister in welcoming the three presi­dents into Nigeria.
