Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, and some of his assistants arrived in Abuja on Sunday to commence preparations for next week’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Zambia in Ndola.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation on their official website, Rohr flew into Abuja aboard an Air France flight in company with technical assistant Jean Luc Royer and video analyst Nabil Trabelsi.
The team’s backroom staff were early arrivals at the team’s Bolton White Hotel and Apartments in Abuja, assistant coach Imama Amapakabo expected on Monday.
Rohr secured his first win in charge of the Super Eagles following their 1-0 win against Tanzania in the final game of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Both the Super Eagles and Zambia did not qualify for next year's AFCON holding in Gabon.
