A former Senate President, Mr David Mark, is worried about the unabating insecurity in parts of Benue State that has claimed scores of lives in recent time.
The former Senate President in a statement signed by his media assistant, Mr Paul Mumeh, stated that a couple of days ago, unknown gunmen invaded a Police station in Ado Local Government Area of Benue State, killing four policemen on duty and carting away some ammunition.
The senator pointed out that in a similar bizarre circumstance, two students of Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo believed to be brothers were murdered in cold blood by gunmen suspected to be cultists.
Senator Mark condemned the killings and urged security operatives to rise up to the challenge.
Senator Mark also asked citizens to cooperate with security operatives to fish out the perpetrators of these heinous crimes.
