Bauchi State governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar is poised to assist the less privileged citizens having serious health issues in order to save their lives.
The Governor made this known through the Hon. Commissioner of Youths, Sports and Social Welfare Pharm Ibrahim Madaki during the commissioner's visit to the residence of Auwal Halliru Bauchi and his brother Uzairu R Hassan who have been suffering from spinal cord injuries for several years.
The two brothers although through different causes have been bedridden for the past 4 and 9 years respectively. The commissioner expressed deep sympathy for the brothers' conditions and also assured them of the Governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar government's willingness to assist and support them in the best way possible.
Responding, Uzairu thanked Governor MA Abubakar for the humane gesture shown to them adding that they will never forget what he has done for them and will be forever grateful for what is to be done for them.
