Adamawa State | Nigerian troops intercept suicide bomber in Madagali


Vigilant troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE Saturday morning intercepted and neutralized a male suicide bomber at Madagali, Adamawa State.

Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director Army Public Relations, in a statement, said the suicide bomber was spotted by a vigilant duty sentry while attempting to infiltrate troops along Madagali-Limankara road.

The bomber was gunned down by the vigilant sentry as he failed to stop when halted.
“The accurate shot also detonated the Improvised Explosive Device vest and was blown into pieces,” it said.
Meanwhile, the Joint Military Task Force in the Niger Delta, Operation Delta SAFE, has ‎arrested two militant leaders and discovered three human skulls in the ongoing military operations.

Lt.-Cdr. Thomas Otuji, Spokesman of the Task Force said the that troops raided a shrine used by the militants and discovered the three human skulls.
