Singer Emma Nyra in a recent interview talks about her “Love vs Money” EP were she reveals there is no love in the entertainment industry.
On why she named the EP “Love vs Money”, the singer says it not only had to do with her but the industry, saying it had to do with balancing one’s love life with her career.
“..With some of the things happening in the industry, there is no love involved, the real you comes out when you’re put on the platform, so “Love vs Money” is basically different songs talking about that.”
She talks about her style of music being versatile although she is more of a ragga pop R&B, but wants people to know she is up to the task with other genres.
She talks about the Nyra Nation movement, saying it basically is about the people whereas the Nyra Nation empire will involve music, film, fashion and building talents with focus on women and kids.
She reveals there will be more collaborations, more singles and also talks more on her female empowerment tour with Seyi Shay and Victoria Kimani.
Speaking of the producer that accused her of theft, she says “It was really painful because she’s not someone who steals, and says she doesn’t want to talk about it further”.
On what her markers for success is, she says it’s being recognized in the industry, and getting encouragement from colleagues in the industry to move on after her unceremonious exit from TripleMG.
