The former Governor of Sokoto State and now Senator, Dr Aliyu Magatakardan Wamako, has described the main Nigeria’s opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a dead party that has no future political direction, considering the present crisis that had rocked the party in recent time.
The former governor stated this yesterday on the Hausa Service of Radio France International (FRI) while reacting to the former Governor Sule Lamido’s statement in which he argued that President Muhammadu Buhari’s APC led administration has failed and lost focus to rule Nigeria.
According to Wamako, “ the PDP should just face current crises that had rocked and even divided its members into different factions and therefore should not waste time in making noise.
The former governor further noted that President Buhari has” repeatedly told Nigerians to be patient” as things would be alright, adding that, “ we should be patient.”
Lamido on the same IFR yesterday said that if APC was fully aware of the county’s problem prior to when it took power from PDP, it should have told Nigerians during 2015 election rather than complaining.
