Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, has signed for Trabzonspor from Lazio.
The 23-year-old travelled to Turkey on Tuesday, where he passed a medical and put pen to paper, after both clubs agreed a transfer fee around €5million.
Onazi took to Instagram to confirm the move. He wrote alongside a picture of him in a Lazio kit:
“When it all started 5 eyars ago. Big thanks to all the great Lazio fans who stood by me when the time was rough and when we all smile. God bless you all. I will always be praying for you all.”
Onazi signed for the Serie A outift in 2012, but is deemed to be surplus to requirements ahead of the new season.
