Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has blasted United States Secretary of State, John Kerry over statements he made during his visit to the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar.
Kerry had during Tuesday's visit to the Sultan commended Abubakar for promoting religious tolerance and understanding among Nigerians.
Kerry, who is on a two-day official visit to the country, noted that the Sultanate Council was building a community of tolerance for peace, progress and political stability in Nigeria.
But in his reaction to Kerry's statements, Fani-Kayode described the statements has garbage and rubbish.
Writing on his official Twitter handle, the former minister said God should forgive Kerry.
He equally said he hopes Donald Trump wins the November presidential election in the US.
The former minister, however, did not state the reason why he condemned Kerry's statements.
