Touching! Last Facebook post of Police officer, Montrell Jackson, killed in Baton Rouge

Montrell Jackson, one of the 3 officers who was killed on Sunday morning by gunman, former marine Long was a new father of one. 9 days ago, during the chaos of the 2 black men killed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Minnesota, Montrell took to his FB page to share his disappointment in family members, friends and colleagues who were making inappropriate comments about police and the shootings.

He wrote:

A GoFuneMe page has been set up to help Jackson's family, called the 'Montrell's Fallen Hero Fundraiser'.

A family friend said:
'Words cannot describe the devastation that we feel right now, and would ask that those who are able to please contribute to this meaningful cause in order to assist Montrell's family financially during this time of mourning. 'Rest in Peace, Montrell, you will always be our hero.'
The 32-year-old's friends remembered him as someone who was passionate and loved his job.
'He loved his job,' friend Darnell Murdock told The Advocate. 'It motivated him to go out and change people's lives. He was on the force to help people, to make you have a better day. 'He was humble, kind and sweet. … He wasn't on there to write tickets. I don't understand how this could happen to someone like him.'
