The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested Maikudi Mohammed, male, 25 years, of Galambi village for allegedly being possession of human head wrapped in a cloth in Misau Town.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect conspired with his accomplice, one Damina Mohammed male, 26 years, of the same address, went to a graveyard in Galambi village and removed the head of a dead male child in order to sell to their customer now at large.
The principal suspect confessed that the child was his son who died and was buried.
He added that he later went back to the graveyard at night with his accomplice and exhumed the corpse.
SP Haruna Mohammed, the Command Police Public Relations Officer, said “the case is under investigation after which suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution”.
