A Kenyan pastor was yesterday, Thursday, July 21, convicted of stabbing and strangling his former lover to death after she threatened to expose their affair. Paul Ng'ang'a of Well of Faith church in Kawagrare was found guilty by a High Court judge.
The judge said circumstantial evidence showed Ng'ang'a stabbed Caroline Chajira several times in her face, strangled her using a wire and hit her on the head with a metal bar. The attack led to Chajira's death on March 9, 2012.
Lessit said the nature of the attack showed the pastor intended to kill the woman.
