N2.5 billion Fraud: Stella Oduah Threatens Legal Action against SaharaReporters

Former Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah currently a senator, has vowed to take legal action against Sahara Reporters over an alleged malicious publication linking her with an alleged N2.5 billion fraud.

The senator said that the planned court action has become necessary so as to checkmate the excesses of the medium and put it back on the right track of journalism in the interest of this country and those wishing to serve in government.

It will be recalled that Oduah, representing Anambra North Senatorial District of Anambra State, was linked to an alleged malicious and fictitious fraud by the online tabloid, that a non-existing source in the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had uncovered the sum of N2.5 Billion Naira in an account opened in the name of an un-named housemaid of the senator.
