Paul Pogba has called Manchester United “my first family” - but claims he does not know if he will rejoin them.
Pogba admits he is uncertain where his future lies with United prepared to pay a world record £100million to bring him back to Old Trafford from Juventus.
The France star quit United on a Bosman four years ago because he was unhappy at being ignored by Sir Alex Ferguson and says the club remains dear to him.
When asked during an interview with ESPN in Spanish about United, he replied: “It was my first family.”
But when presented with a United shirt and asked what he would do if Jose Mourinho called him, he said: “My answer...I don’t know.
“Let’s see, let’s see. For the moment, I am here and I am happy here, but I don’t know where I want to go.”
Pogba claims Juventus are his “family” and says he is “comfortable” playing for the Italian champions.
“That’s my team, my family, it’s where I am playing,” he said when asked for his feelings about Juve.
“I am very comfortable here. I am happy to play football and it’s something I have wanted do to since I was young.”
Real Madrid also want Pogba and the midfielder called them a “great club”.
When presented with a Real shirt and asked what he thought of them, he replied: “They won the Champions League this year. They are a great club.”
