Jurgen Klopp has committed his long-term future to Liverpool by signing a new six-year deal. Liverpool's owners FSG were keen to tie Klopp down to Anfield beyond his old deal, which ran until 2018, because of the progress he has made in his first nine months in the job.
And the German was happy to agree on new terms, committing his future to the Reds until 2022. The terms are confidential, but it is understood Klopp will receive a rise on his £7million-a-year salary.
Klopp's coaches, Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz, have also been handed new six-year deals to run concurrently with his.
