Below is the statement issued by the police command as regarding the three notorious criminals that was paraded naked:
"The Enugu state police command in its bid towards ensuring that the entire area is rid off crime and criminality on 6/7/16 through its operatives of Nsukka Division caged three suspected notorious armed robbery suspects who gave their names as Vitus Agbo, Asogwa Sunday and Ugwu Uchenna and recovering their gun as they were robbing their victims at owere obukpa in Nsukka local Government Area of Enugu state in the early hours of the morning of that fateful day.
It was gathered that suspects were apprehended through the timely information received from members of the public and through the partnership of Owere Neighbourhood watch group obukpa. Nsukka Enugu. It was further gathered that suspects have been a torn in the life of members of the public within obukpa and its environs including some university students.They are now helping the operatives of the command in their investigations and in relation to their nefarious activities"
