FCT Minister slam for his response towards Deaconess Eunice Olawale’s Murder

Minister of the FCT, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has come under attack and criticism for keeping quiet over the killing of a popular female preacher in Kubwa by yet to be known, persons.

The killing took place Saturday morning when the woman, Deaconess Eunice Olawale, went out around 5:00 am for evangelism as usual.

A man who simply identified himself as Mr. Matthew decried the attitude of the FCT Minister whom he said has not taken any action, or visited the family since the incident happened.

Mr. Matthew said that Abuja that used to be very safe is becoming unsafe and that the Minister needed to have given the residents confidence by taking prompt action.
“This is insensitivity on the part of the minister who is the governor of the Territory. He needed to have personally visited the family and make a strong statement condemning the act and give the rest of us the confidence that we are safe in Abuja,” Matthew stated.
He equally said that for the Vice President’s wife to be the first to visit the family shows that the paraphernalia of government was not interested and has left the matter for the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) which the deceased was member before her murder.

The 42 year old Eunice Olawale left behind her husband, Elisha Olawale and seven children. The family has so far been visited by the Vice President’s wife, Dolapo Osinbajo in company of the wife of the General Overseer of RCCG, Mr. Foluke Adeboye as well as the Bwari Area Council Chairman.
