Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of James Tomkins from West Ham. The 27-year-old joins on a long-term deal after the two clubs agreed a fee of £10million.
Tomkins, a former England Under-21 defender, made 25 appearances for the Hammers last term. The central defender becomes Palace's third signing of the summer after Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda and Newcastle winger Andros Townsend both joined last week.
