7 Year old uses Father's Gun to shoot housemaid to death

Tragedy struck in an Abia state household when a 7 year old boy  allegedly playfully gunned down the housemaid with his father’s gun.

According to The Vanguard, the child had picked up his father’s gun from his room thinking it was a toy and pointed it at the housemaid stating playfully that he’d kill her before doing just that when the gun was fired.

The housemaid died before she could be saved.

A friend of the child’s father who is a lawyer spoke on the matter saying, “The child pointed the gun at the househelp and jokingly said ‘I will kill you’, and pulled the trigger. The gun went off and hit the househelp. She died before she could receive medical attention.”
