A resident of Owo Local Government in Ondo State, Mr Bola Abdulkareem at the weekend explained how his 19-year-old child, Moyinoluwa was kidnapped by a yet to be identified Okada rider, while returning home from a bank last Friday.

Abdulkareem, who said Moyinoluwa had not been released by her abductor, said she spoke to him once since the incident occurred.

Already, the matter has been reported to the Owo Police “A” Division.

Moyinoluwa’s father, who lives at Arables street in Owo, told DAILY POST that her daughter, a student at Prospect High School, Owo, boarded an Okada to a bank to withdraw some money.
“Up till now, I have not heard from her again and her abductor has not demanded any ransom”, he added.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Owo, Mr Oluwole Fabiyi, who confirmed the report, said the police were waiting for the family to furnish it with more information before setting on the rescue mission.
