Born on August 20, 1992, in the United States, Demi Lovato thought she’d be dead at the age 21 (3 years ago) due to her alcohol and drug abuse.
‘I lived fast and I was going to die young. I didn’t think I would make it to 21,’ she opened up to American Way magazine.
The 23-year-old singer was admitted to rehab in 2010 aged 19 for treatment for alcohol and drug abuse along with an eating disorder and self-harming. She succeeds in staying alive and will celebrate turning 24 in two months time.
