The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has confirmed that the country’s team for the 2016 Olympic Games, will leave for their final training camp in the USA next week.
Before then, Samson Siasia’s men are expected to play the U-23 national team of Mexico in Mexico on July 2.
The game will be played in Aguascalientes Stadium, home ground of newly promoted top tier club, Necaxa FC.
In the US, the team will take on Charleston Battery FC in Atlanta on July 16. A game against Honduras U-23 team is also being planned for July 27.
Siasia released a 35-man provisional squad on Friday, which will be pruned down to 18 players before the Games kick off on August 5.
