Nollywood Stories Are Not The Way They Used To Be” – Alex Usifo

Veteran Actor, Alex Usifo spoke on his absence from screen in a recent interview with Sahara Weekly, according to him, Nollywood is getting bigger, but stories are not the way they used to be.
“If you ask me, Nollywood is getting bigger, the only thing is you may complain that the stories are not the way they used to be,” he said.
“When people complain about Nollywood, they complain of the stories and the kind of people they see. Maybe a lot of us, when we are given scripts and we don’t like the story, we can tell them we don’t want to be part of it.
And on their part, they can’t afford us so they settle for less and these things affect good production, because you may have a good story but don’t have the kind of money to pay artistes, equipment, right locations, good direction, good camera man. So if some aspects are not right, it will affect your story.
