BUSTED: Ex-Police Officer Use Dead Man's Credit Card to Buy Expensive Diamond Ring (PHOTO)

An ex-NYPD officer pleaded guilty Tuesday to buying a diamond ring with a credit card she found on the body of a dead Manhattan man, New York Post reports.

The report revealed that the former police officer identified as Ymmacula Pierre, 30, was charged with a misdemeanor theft rap and was sentenced to a conditional discharge. She previously agreed to resign from the NYPD.

Pierre was arrested in 2014 for using a dead man’s card to buy $3,200 in bling from an online jeweler.

Revealing how the incident took place, police said that Pierre and her partner went to the Manhattan home of a 65-year-old architect Kenneth Sanden. A relative had called police after not hearing from him for several days.

It was gathered that when Pierre arrived there, she found Sanden dead and vouchered some of his items – including the card, cops said.

She went ahead to use the dead man's credit card to buy a diamond ring from Zales.com for $3,282.58. The credit number was later traced revealing the shocking detail.

Sanden’s niece was alerted to the possible fraud and notified the vendor prior to delivery.

“He was taken advantage of,” the niece told The Post, noting that she worked with police to track down the diamond’s buyer. The IP address of the computer used to conduct the transaction was traced back to Pierre’s boyfriend and she was arrested.
